Chao Yigon was bullied as a child for his weight. At a young age he did not like the way others viewed himself.
Chao would go out in the snow and try and run to stop his feelings of anger and sadness about the way he was treated.
Chao lost a lot of weight doing 2-3 hour cardio every day and barely eating. This caused him to loose too much weight. Even his doctor advised he was loosing weight in an unhealthy way.
Searching for something to make himself feel better, Chao started weight lifting. Effort and discipline were his focus. Creating a life he could be proud of.
Getting hit by a pick up truck put a real dent in his progress. With nerve damage and constant pain Chao could not lift.
Feeling lost and in pain, Chao kept smiling and even at his lowest point he knew it would get better. Chao started doing what he could, working around the injuries and pain. He picked himself up and reignited his fire and has never looked back.
