pretty much sums it up. chicks are usually on there for the attention and entertainment, guys just want casual stuff. i stopped bothering with those awhile ago because over time its gotten worse and worse, hardly anyone even wants to meet in person anymore so its all about texting dozens of random people that i never end up meeting and i prefer in person socializing. ive very rarely met someone off an app that had anything to bring to the table either and im not even super picky, just be able to hold a good conversation and put effort into getting to know one another, that practically never happens when its all swiping on pictures all day, matching, having infinite options, no one takes it serious which is why its next to impossible to have any one on one and get to know anyone. Ive had better conversation with cashiers at grocery stores lol. dating apps seem great on paper, convenient, dont need to go anywhere or do anything, but when 99% of the user base never has any serious intentions it quickly becomes a chore and defeats the whole point. everyone ive heard from has said the same thing, dont look for that kind of thing on the internet unless you're willing to settle for less and waste a ton of time, just put yourself out there and talk to people in real life, it all starts with hello after all and thats what i do now
