I feel your pain. My cat was having litter box issues and I took him to the vet. Bloodwork, urine analysis, images and a visit to a specialist later, we finally found out what was wrong with him.
Turns out the little beast wasn't drinking enough water, so peeing hurt and he was trying new places to see if it wouldn't hurt going there. I have THREE water fountains around the place and a couple of water bowls that are cleaned and refilled daily available to him 24/7.
I fixed the issue adding water to his regular food. He won't drink water, but will lap up a cat food soup like it's ambrosia. No more litter box accidents.

A few things to try:
- have another litter just for her
- close the litter
- check when she does it, there might be something that stresses her in those moments or around them
- make sure she's not stressed when eating / going to the litter
- check how your cats are doing when you're going to sleep, is Banana able to go where she wants? Is she unhappy about something?
- make sure she's not getting bullied in some ways

My kitten was doing the same. My solution was to clean the litter box two times a day to make sure it’s squeaky clean and have a total of 4 litter boxes at home 😭. I have two kittens too and they are brothers so it was kinda shocking to me when she started peeing on the bed, I think it was mostly stress and territorial issues with her brother. I also noticed that when she tried to pee then her brother would interrupt and she would end up holding it and peeing on the bed so I had to take her to the litter box at the times she would usually pee and then give her a treat if she peed. I hope Banana stops doing this after you make her more comfortable

My cat does that too. I consulted two vets but neither gave a certain explanation, So I throw thick plastic sheet all over the bed, plus she has this "alarm before the accident" kind of a thing, she meows right before peeing on bed, so I put her in her litter box. My advice is not to be angry with her, try to find her alarm behaviour to save the day, and don't wash the bed sheets with the detergent you wash her toilet with. Love you Bannana❤.

If you don’t already have one, you should get a waterproof encasement for your mattress. It will drastically extend the life of your mattress by protecting it from everything. The encasement is also 10000x easier to clean than the mattress, literally just chuck it in the washing machine. You should also look into pet insurance. Ask your vet which ones they work with, that can save you a ton of money.

Animal behaviorist here! If medical issues are ruled out and the vet says it's anxiety or something of that nature try ruling more things out to find the cause. It could be her being picky about a dirty litter box, not enough litter boxes, not enough scent soakers, and you could try things like calming collars or feliway plugs
