Crazy how a toxic person turns reasonable when in voice call, almost like riot is completely wrong about adding voice chat. Maybe being able to communicate to teammates in game without typing helps reduce confusion and stress.

People tend to be less toxic the more masks of anonimity you remove.
Face to face is as chill as it gets.
Video calls may get a tiny bit more aggressive, but still very chill.
Voice calls are still very human, and ou still have to imput your voice and your voice call account details, so still not very anonymous.
Voice chat gets a bit more anonymous though, so we get things like valorant xd.
Aaaand finally, text chat. Oh boy. Let's be honest, we all here play league. This one doesn't require explanation xd

A lot of us are not toxic inside, it's just that game and expirience of toxicity making us like that. If You get os dsc with ppl, they are rarely as toxic as on chat.
