It’s honestly crazy how everyone accuses the whole furry community of being like… _that_, while there are still great furries out there. Some people still confuse furries with therians. Plus, anthropomorphic animals already have existed before you were born (like Anubis). Night is one of the good furries, and he is not “cringe” like most of the community.
The good side of the community is filled with nice, supportive people. A furry character is literally just an animal that acts like a human, how is that even weird in the first place? People already put human-like personality traits and characteristics on regular animals and they’re okay with it. Is standing upright a crime? We do it all the time.
