A spiritual awakening is a profound, life-changing experience… But it's not always easy.

When you first awaken, your energy channels open up, and your energy starts to flow. If you have a lot of resistance, old emotions or traumas that are stored in your body, they will be released and quickly cleared. This can lead to emotional release and purging.

However, it's better out than in!
Afterwards, you become more open and flowing, and you are able to feel more subtle energies around you and within you. This is a positive, because it means that you will have increased intuition and can make better choices for yourself.

Secondly, as you release these old energies, you may experience an ego death which is the death of your old identity.

All the old limiting stories, beliefs and roles start to fall away. When you have an ego death, you feel like you are dying, because you have identified so strongly with these old stories. Even though they are not aligned, you have felt comfortable holding onto the familiar.

However, it's a good sign that these layers are falling away, because it gives you the opportunity to re-align your true purpose.

If you are going through these experiences right now… remember that you are only graced with a spiritual awakening if you are ready on some level. Your soul wants you to have it so you can step into alignment with your true path.

Some people meditate for years trying to have a spiritual awakening with no luck. If we are graced with a spiritual awakening, we are truly blessed.

So it is much better to accept it and to allow the feelings to release, and to let your body rebirth & rewire.
Be patient and gentle with yourself. It will pass. 💖
