I did this one by accident last year! I found this expensive thick wool oriental at the thrift store for like NO money and I rolled it out in the living room to show my GF, and I was like, Hey - this looks cute on top of my jute rug, so it stayed and everybody loves it….me too!!

I love love love this look! Definitely has to be different textures. Question; What do you think of one of the rugs being angled so they are exactly symmetrical? As long as you keep it was in your defined space.

I love rugs, but the practical issue of trip hazards, especially for older folks, makes carpet a more viable option much of the time.

Can you do a video on how to work with floor to floor carpeting? Or just maybe a shout out to everybody who has a basic ass apartment? I’m trying to design my space and get info from Pinterest but a lot of it is too bougie. Like I live in LA and I make not Hollywood star salary. I don’t have an apartment that has huge windows that can let the light in or even an apartment that I can DIY stuff.

I have wool and silk rugs my husband brought home on his deployments. The problem is that they're all smaller, like 3x5 or 4x7 and i have no idea how to decorate with them.

I personally don’t love this look. I get when it’s not intentional, like you had a rug you loved but is now too small for the space and you want to make it work, but I can’t imagine going out and buying two rugs for third purpose.
