Learning about these ideas led me to look deeper into eastern ideas of art and further influenced my own painting actually. In the same respect it's a state I always found with metal music and now I'm finding in different forms of jazz music. Coltrane actually experienced a lot of this and a lot of his later career was experimenting with universalist sort of ideas of "zen". It's something I love. I found it recently in Andre 3000s new album "new blue sun" it has a beautiful ambience through woodwind.

When I close my eyes I see Darkness but I see shapes fingers and color it's pretty interesting nobody else has no idea about it but I see colors sometimes they're scary faces most time is loving and then it's just beautiful I don't see colors when I close my eyes and stuff like that
