oh I have one more use for them. get the right artificer if you got yourself some white dragon scales they can make you a bottle for your ale that keeps it cooled 100% of the time no matter how hot it is outside. If it's a red dragon, you can use it to keep you warm with some mulled cider. If it's black or green you can get a bottle that makes it so that even water gives you a buzz. and if it's blue, it can make a bottle that it's funny to watch an elf drink out of.

You forgot Arrowheads and Bolts. Nothing works for acid arrows quite like Black Dragon scales.
You might be thinking "Arrows are for Elves", and you're right. But Balistae are Dwarven. And nothing quite says "F U" like shooting someone with a four foot long arrow that then proceeds to explode into armor piercing Red Dragonscale shrapnel.
