These dwarf planets are all smaller than our moon, and when he says "hot" he means higher than −161.5 °C (−258.7 °F), which is the boiling point of methane. ❄️🥶❄

I am so happy to have heard "Makemake" pronounced correctly. I follow some great channels that pronounce it right but I've come across a lot of them that say it incorrectly and that's typically a pretty bad sign that those running the channel aren't huge space nuts like myself.

I absolutely love this channel. It’s the only one where when I watch a short, I immediately go and watch the accompanying long form video. Love it:)✨✨✨

It really does seem the more we learn the less we actually know.

I think that alot of what we think is solely based around carbon based life. Its sad really. Science should absolutely be looking outside of the box at this point in our research. We are constantly having to re-write theoretical science due to the marvelous discoveries of today. The most recent re-write has been on what we believed the maximum size that a star can be. Anyone who hasn't looked into this, please do. Absolutely fascinating!

That's the amazing part of science It's an ever learning process We never stopped learning new things about the place that surrounds us I have to love cosmology and have for many many decades I've gotten to witness our expansion of our knowledge greatly When I started , we had not the twenty percent of our sky Mapped out Now it's one hundred percent And we're learning new things every day by peering closer and closer into the spot.Third seem to have something interesting to see Anyone that is young because a chance to witness the amazing gas clouds alex other formations in our universe Like me when I was young will be hooked forever

A frozen pair. 45 and 97 A U out. They reveal frozen worlds with collapsed atmospheres. Not a likely scene for life. Any liquid would become solid.

That's a very misleading title for something related to methane.

Reminds me of how rocks swirl in the ground to make giant holes with the help of flowing water. I wonder if a piece of ice broke off and resulting in the same effect possibly
