Nothing made much sense when exploring the esoteric until I found Carl Jungs works. To have a structure to make sense of the basic two realties, the depths and the times... and understanding how they are interconnected is the cypher to understanding ones self.

the thing with psychedelics is that they are not for most people, actually most people should completely avoid them because you need to be ALREADY very wise and mature to take advantage of its use otherwise they are VERY DANGEROUS. I've seen people getting VERY LOST, please avoid them if you're still very young and if you're still growing up, my best advise is avoid psychedelics, you need to be almost at the level of a wise chaman to really be ready to take this experience.

I can't pinpoint the exact phrasing, but Terence expressed multiple times how he felt this text was the penultimate exploration of the UFO topic.

My path has included Jungian work and medicine work. And both have worked together very synergistically. It makes sense to me that Terrence McKenna would have been attracted to Jungian Psychology as a profession.

I agree that they (psychedelics) may be the best way to reconnect for mostly all of the western world. However if your way of thinking is already “different” then you may not need psychedelics. As a “weird” aside, this is why I subscribe to “weird” ideas like Starseeds. Because without deliberately thinking about “weird” topics like this/these, you’ll have to solely rely on psychedelics (or something else like meditation journeys or dreams) to introduce ideas, that originate from beyond this world, to your active consciousness.

i actually started reading Jung because of McKenna. I really wish McKenna would've said some things about Rene Guenon because I'd be really curious of his thoughts on him as well.

I had actually listened to a full lengthy speech or lecture by Terence Mckenna at the Jungian Society on YouTube! Yes, psychedelics, enthegoens are a path, scientific and spiritual/mystical! 🌌 + 🧠

I started with McKenna then studied Jung, came back to McKenna and it opened up my understanding of his use of language and symbol at a level that hadn't clicked prior
