Lately, the thought that keeps surfacing around “purpose” is - - >> “honorable intention.” If the only pursuit is money regardless of meaningful intent it will backfire. If money is the result from the joy you receive (or create for others) when “doing the thing”, then how can it not flourish? Peace Y’all.

Billionaires commit suicide for all kinds of reasons. Absolute answers never tell the whole story. Sometimes it’s because they are narcissistic and they can't deal with getting caught on something terrible they did. Like destroying their families or killing people as we know has happened. Money and happiness may not always go together but, like anything, sometimes they do.
Regardless, chasing your purpose requires you choose one first, and that in itself, the journey, could be what's happy if it's real.

Money won't be important until you get enough to pursue something more important than money.
99% Prisoners?
money
85% divorces?
money
Can't eat well?
money
Can't get good medical care?
money
So you can see that money doesn't make anyone happy. But how will you be happy owing?
After making money, you can worry about something bigger and achieve the greatest version of yourself.
Money when well used can be a tool that brings you closer to God.

I think, say, and then I do whatever I want. Simple as that. I want to finance a new car but I make 30k a year, I'll make it work. I want a girlfriend, I listen to my heart and it shows me the one. All that brings improvement and importance is time and effort. Be who you are, strive for what you want, and thrive with what you become.

The truth is that all wanting is in fact nothing more than nagging discontent/unhappiness. And the more there is to want in any situation, the more discontent/unhappiness you will find in that particular situation. And yes, as this is in fact a world of wanting. Of course, this is also a world of depression and unhappiness. Hence the old sayings that "A wise man wants for nothing" and "A wise man understands the difference between a want and a need". Cheers!
