I would be very interested to see you learn about the Inuit and what your take aways are. They traditionally ate by far the highest fat diet of any population BUT they have a gene mutation that makes entering Ketosis very difficult, and it's remained even though it raises infant mortality.
This is among the reason I'm very pro fasting but don't support a Keto diet.

This is more of a stunt than a healthy way to fast. This is evident by the fact that he lost mostly muscle mass; fasting shouldn't deplete your nutrients to cause this starvation like effect.
A prolonged fast needs to be supplemented with key micronutrients and low exercise + amino acids to sustain muscle.
Thats what separates a fast from starvation.
Regardless this stunt was likely a net positive for him health wise; but there are better ways to achieve this.

The interesting thing to me is that he apparently didn't suffer significant consequences from the fast itself, but from improperly breaking the fast with a bag of chips.
