Just going for a hair appointment and you get a deer and glass all over you. Glad no one seemed hurt. Poor deer, I hope it wasn't cut up too bad from all that.

We had a bear beak into our car once. I thought the insurance claim would be hard. The insurance person was like ‘Naw. Get these claims all the time.’ 😳

I live "rural residential". There is a mob of wallabies who keep my lawns well-kept, and all the trees and bushes are trimmed to pademelon reach.

Let's not forget, we've killed all their natural predators, or severely reduced their range (which has really been primarily b/c livestock)so not much keeping them in check there, & realistically, even areas they are seemingly expanding their ranges into (eg deer showing up in cities, where they haven't been seen in 200+ years), are most likely places they once had been, before human settlements came in.
FWIW, if this is a suburb, almost every one I've been to on the E. Coast has had whitetail deer, somewhere, roaming around in it.

A momma deer went through 2 windows. One in and one out. She ran into our buildding across the street that had no windows. He baby followed her. Momma was found two blocks away and had to be put down because she was cut up. Baby went to a reserve.
