I would argue that one cannot be free of sin without the power of God. We were born in sin and we will die in sin as the Bible clearly teaches. But in the meantime, we can conquer sin through his power of Grace.

Honestly I use to think I could never escape my addictions and other sins, but drawing nearer to God and staying in the word, praying, fasting changed everything. I struggle with temptation sometimes but I feel so free with Jesus! It is possible day by day to hate sin more and more and to not desire those things anymore. ❤
