I was talking to a therapist once, and I was thinking, "Aren't we supposed to be on the same side?" Some of it I could see a good reason for. I do agree at least to a small extent that a therapist should not get into too strong of an ego alliance as a client.

I am too antisocial to ever be attached to anybody ever again. I learned my lesson. Friendship causes pain. Romantic interests cause pain. Acqaintences are no different. I get attached to nobody. Being social has far more negatives than positives. It actually offers few benefits at all.

Kati Morton.i csn understand and relate to unhealthy attachment s to w therapist i went though this when i first started therapy in a hospital when i had psychologist i also got very emotional and triggered because of my attachment to my psychologist that kinda why iv been feeling relieved at the moment because iv got no therapy or therapist because i fear getting attachment issues again ❤😢

I think all of that is normal in the beginning, lol . totally fine. Ppl are in therapy for a reason. A good therapist will help with confidence and that will resolve itself.

I've had many therapists most of them were unhealthy relationships.....the therapist I have a pretty healthy relationship somewhat of a mother like figure. She's retiring in 2025. Will be hard on me.

I've never had a therapist. It scares me having a stranger know every fcking thing about me. So much shit I deal with on my own. Some of these youtube channels have helped though.

I think of my therapist as like a teacher with maybe a little bit a freind thrown in there. His purpose is to give me the tools i need to get through my tough issues and a safe place to vent my frustrations or just get things off my chest. Maybe a little advice now and then. I think thats a healthy therapist relationship.
