Have you ever walked into an exam room unprepared? šŸ¤”

For me, the feeling of not being ready is a huge source of anxiety. This is why I try and be smart about how I plan my time and I prepare very intensely beforehand. This way, no matter the outcome, I always feel happy with myself and like the result canā€™t be that negative.

I've never felt jealous of people who get good grades - only jealous of those who were able to seem calm before and after the exam

as someone who always studies beforehand, i still get anxiety. sometimes i get so stressed i try to make up excuses as to skip them even though i have fully prepped for it (never acted upon it tho). for me, I'd say to trust yourself, if you have done everything you could, have faith in yourself and you'll be fine. this is obviously only when you're fully prepared yet underconfident. this is part of a student life and will have a lot of exams in the future, so just study well, dont stress and enjoy the process :)

So basically by studying. Thatā€™s what my brainā€™s been telling me to do but I donā€™t listen

For those who are like me- I get very very anxious and then in turn donā€™t study because Iā€™m demotivated and anxious. What I like to do: make a playlist with music (I love rap) that is just pure confidence (think bad b**ch energy ) and just blast that in my earphones. Usually gets the ball rolling and then I can study , gain confidence and be motivated.

You don't know how much this helped me, I prepared so hard for a test and I didn't do as much as I expected and I felt this great anxiety and depression set in and I felt no matter what I did, I'd always fail, so watching this and seeing how everything you're describing is exactly me, I'm now confident. Thanks, you're a life saver

Iā€™ve always had exam anxiety even when I am prepared. My anxiety sprouts from being a child of a college math professor that did not accept less than the highest of scores regardless of subject. A 90/100 was a failure in my fatherā€™s book, so I would stress myself for days until the day of the exam. Migraines, nausea and bruxism were my thing, even to this day.

Exams are just who can memorize the most information.

Tommorow Iā€™m getting final exam test results and I genuinely think I failed both tests. This is the first I felt like I failed on something thatā€™s important. Iā€™m so nervous, I talked to my mother about how scared I was of failing and she made my nervousness worse. I feel like throwing up šŸ˜¢

Sometimes I get anxious on case of studying too much and not ending up with a good grade cause it makes me feel dumb. So I generally am anxious before any exam.

What to do when You procrastinated a bit and now super stressed out cause only 3 weeks left for stuff which takes 4-5 weeks? I am a huge exam Panicer but still manage to be not prepared super well, itā€™s actually the situation I am in right now šŸ™‰ and itā€™s bad because now anxiety and panic starts meaning I canā€™t fall asleep and wake up early from stress .. donā€™t know what to d

This requires: 1- feeling like you spent an adequate amount of time on something and couldnā€™t have done any better, which if you have impostor syndrome is a hard concept to fully grasp; 2- careful time planning, which means you donā€™t fall into a procrastination trap because youā€™re convinced youā€™ll never do good enough anyway, and leave things to the last minute. Good outlook on things nevertheless
