Paying for public restroom depends where you are but in most of the countries you need to pay.

1. Almost all the shots in this video are from Prague. I think it's not very smart comparing US to Europe based on only city shown in this video.
2. Yes, there are "Plant shops" in Prague, but I can guarantee you that no local would buy anything from there. They target tourists who often don't know that "the Plants" are banned here. In every other city that's not as much tourist attractive, you won't find these.
3. Yes paying for WC is stupid, but as I said, every contry in europe is different.
4. The elevator is called "Paternoster" and it's not dangerous. If you just Google "Paternoster" and look at the images, you'll see that it's not dangerous. Yes it doesn't stop but doesn't go that fast. In Europe these are still pretty rare. We don't use these every day and i don't even know about this kind of elevator outside of Prague.
Finally, this comment is not hate or anything it's just making sure no person from US would think that Czech Republic or any other country in Europe is worse than others. Also I would be happy if there were more positive things said, becaose there are a lot of positive things about Europe that US doesn't have.

just ask for tap water in Europe, they have to give it to you for free I'm pretty sure. Also using the bathroom for money is something I've never heard of, must have been where you were.

You can buy weed in the Netherlands. If you have less that 5 grams itās ālegalā. The Netherlands has something called āhet gedogenbeleidā. That means it (weed) is illegal, but if you have 5 grams or less then the police canāt do anything. This is in theory. How it really goes is that people just buy weed and not care how much grams it is and then smoke it in public. The cops just wont do anything.
So thatās why weed is really popular in the Netherlands.

Like the video, hope youāre enjoying your vacation - but I gotta clarify some points, cause this is just straight misinformation.
Looks like you are using one country as a template for the entirety of Europe (though I could be wrong there) - go to Holland, those stores arenāt fake. Come to England, we donāt have any elevators like that, unless it is a purposefully renovated old elevator - usually in an old or posh building.
Also, most places do have a doorknob lol, that was just your hotel.
Before people start whining, am not complaining, just clarifying.
It would be like me going to Florida, seeing a man wrestle an alligator, and then claiming that all people on the American continent (Canada, Mexico, Peru e.t.c) wrestle alligators.
Maybe just do the country you are actually in. Anyway, I still enjoyed the vid, āļø

In the uk england its wayy different elevators awesome and doors arent that cursed but frontdoors of houses have keys but public places got like door knobs and plant shops not scams

If youāre in the uk, ask for TAP WATER. Not bottled water, TAP WATER. That way itās free
