Exercise After 50 Fitness Myth #1 that you should not believe. You may think that because you haven't been exercising your entire life, it's too late for you to start now. But it's not!

If you're over 50 and haven't exercised your whole life, it may seem like you're too old to start now. But that's just not true! You can benefit from exercise at any age.

You may be worried about getting injured but if you start slow and work up to a routine that works for you, there's no reason why you can't enjoy the benefits of exercise at any age.

Here are some tips to help get started:

- Start by walking for 20 minutes every day. If that feels good, try adding some strength training on one or two days per week—like doing pushups or squats with weights.

- Once you've built up a little more confidence and strength, try going for longer walks or runs, or maybe even swimming laps in the pool!

If you're in your 50s or older, there's no time like the present to get moving!

Exercise is important at any age, but as we age, our bodies change. We lose muscle mass and bone density and become less flexible, which can lead to injuries. But exercise can help prevent these problems by keeping our muscles strong, improving bone density, and keeping us flexible—all while improving our mood and mental health!

Thank you, I am 52 and facing hip replacement… I don’t want it. Eating better and learning more about how to give my body the nutrients to build and regain mobility is the journey that makes me more proud of myself and I feel better overall not giving up on my skeletal… I believe in her cuz my body keeps improving through the pain, and as I eat and supplement according to my osteo surgeon, with earth’s healing properties such as tumeric latte’s and ginger along with bones soups and such I am feeling less pain. I take Serrapeptase on an empty stomach in the early morning and it has help my hip joints loosen with less pain and bed yoga has been helping me immensely I am ready to get back outside and walk 20 mins… I am no longer using a cane to walk. I rest my body and sit wayyyy less now. My sciatic you know 🤦🏾‍♀️ that thing is more painful than having a cracked cartilage in my left hip. I thank God for ppl like you, helping mankind heal is a beautiful thing Fam so thank a bunch ❤🙏🏾♥️
