I went on a hiking trip and planned sleeping in a tent. Temperatures fell to 50 degrees (7°C) at night and I was worried but I had the best sleep ever. Packed my body up nicely but my face was in the cold and it somehow worked wonders.

As someone currently serving 30 years in the gulag in Siberia, I can confirm this is accurate.

While these short form videos are quick to watch to get information, I do enjoy your long-forms much more and find myself missing them. Thanks for spreading the information regarding cool temperatures for sleep though! :)

I prefer the longer format ones. I really love the depth of detail you go into and the science (and simpsons clips)

Maybe this is why cold showers always make me feel so sleepy

Not for me, I would absolutely be up all night freezing in that temperature. I need it hot in order to sleep.

I find myself having trouble sleeping when it gets too cold.

Yes sir. I sleep best when I need blankets. That's 65F for me. To regulate my body heat, during the night, I stick my right foot and/or leg out from under the covers. I don't know why this works but I sleep like a dead man every night.

Looks at the temperatures. Cries in tropical Also, I believe this is the reason people recommend drinking warm milk or having a hot bath. It raises your body temperature and when it eventually falls down, you'd feel drowsy.

I see that 60-68 degrees figure all the time and that is SO cold. I couldn't possibly sleep at even 68 degrees let alone 60.
