Oh, I gave up my gym membership of 8 years a while back, I’ve also learned to shop online or at all-night supermarkets and go to the hardware at 6 am, gave up having a drink at a Bar or Hotel years ago. I have to be careful where I go hiking and camping. The beach is now out. I still have my boat, but I will sell it the first sign they invade that space. I changed both my Employment and field of work nearly 6 years ago. I’m a white, male, hetero, 6 feet 2 inches, professional and happily single with no intention of “getting into a relationship”. I own my home, which I extensively renovated after I bought it (I later bought the homes on either side of it and renovated them and rent them). I own my business, which I started nearly 6 years ago. There are no females employed in the business. I incorporated the business 3 years ago and sold minority shareholdings to 2 of my employees. Our turn-over has steadily increased year on year. I’m now able to work a 4 day week and arrange to have every odd weekend a 4 day weekend, the same option is open to staff. We have no part-timers. We employ 2 interns every year, so far we turn 40% of interns into full time employees. From starting, our staff have 20 paid holida days a year, going to 25 in their 5th year of employment. All staff have comprehensive medical. All staff have the same number of sick days as they have holiday days. In the last 5 years I’ve let go 3 employees and none have resigned. Bonuses are voted by secret ballot by all the staff from a fixed percentage of profits. I have taken 2 periods of 3 weeks holidays each year in the last 3 years, with no intervention by me during those periods (I check in each day remotely at the morning staff meetings). I just can’t see why I would disturb my life with a female. I do invite females out from time to time, but only once or twice and I never tell them I own my home or my business.
