Jim Morrison was more than a rock star or a hollow idol, he was a "Wild Child full of grace savior of the human race" a brilliant poet, prophet and an inspiration to anyone who heard his music or saw him perform as he and The Doors brought a new genre to pop culture as they performed Theatre of Rock live on stage. He brought the Apollonian & Dionysian struggle for control to life with the words and music and stage performance of The Doors in concert. Jim through his personas as Mr. Mojo Risin' and the Lizard King touched me and many others with his words of wisdom. He was influenced by Nietzsche, Aldus Huxley, , Sinatra, Ginsberg, Kerouac and of course the works of William Blake in which he seemed to have lived by "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom." Jim has left an indelible mark in my life and many many others. Lament for the death of an American Poet.

Rip in peace Jim🔥🦎🔥🦎🔥🌹♥️

After I also became a most devout and dedicated admirer of the Doors work from '67 to the present '24 • I quote from their record 'An American Prayer" released after Morrison's death to various individuals. Also, had a quote attributed to Jim from that lp printed on my 1st thousand cards to readers, of "We live. We die. And death not ends it." I hope to meet Mr. Morrison in Heaven someday.
