Lemay also was in charge of bombing Japan during WW2. Heā€™s quoted saying that if the US lost the pacific war he expected to be tried for war crimes by the Japanese.

I was in the Marine Corps, served in two war campaigns in Afghanistan and I cant believe I worked for such a villainous country. Most of us in the unit would ever imagine the government was capable of any of that. They kept on emphasizing rules and regulations. The rules of engagement, i thought it was so convoluted because they kept emphasizing having to verify this verify that verify to verify. Lol, we such suckers thinking these people would never have do anything evil. Im pretty sure it was to make sure we truly believed we were the good guys. Not knowing they could easily change the rules and make us do literally whatever they want us to do. And I wont say we were innocent. In retrospect, there were of course troops who were very well aware of the US history of unhinged terror. But they kept it to themselves and just volunteered for infantry activity if they didnt get any action abroad. Which was weird to me. If our unit isnt engaging anything, why would you risk your life looking for blood? That was always weird to me. How naive I was. I keep finding out more and more illegal activity. The crazy part is the majority isnt even classified, dude. The bombings of Iraqi civillian infastructure isnt even classified. The US was so confident its citizens were uneducated and plugged into mainstream media, they didnt even try to keep allot of these crimes a secret. Yet again, journalism is dead. All the "journalist" covering media today are corporate employees. They dont cover anything without the US allowing them. Any journalist that actually tries to do full coverage end up dead, in jail, crippled or paid off. But at the end of the day, theres so many moving parts, the government couldnt hope to keep up with its own mess.

To the American people watching this. No, you are not the bad guys, as long as you don't partitipate in those horrible actions. And you are most definitely moraly correct to call out the evil that is the American government and ruling class. You are just like us, workers all around the world, and we are just like you. Your interests are more in line with those of an Iraqi worker than an American CEO. You, as long as you recognise the aforementioned, are brothers and sisters to us. But your government and ruling class, they, are the enemy.
