The creator economy is steadily growing and grabbing a larger portion of the global market, with spending in this sector estimated to be worth over $16 billion. An increasing number of people are consuming content created by individuals instead of corporations which has resulted in more marketers shifting their budgets into sponsoring influencers. In addition, data shows that kids now prefer becoming YouTube stars rather than astronauts - highlighting how much impact these creators have had on our culture! #korea #koreanwave #kpop #economics #economicsexplained #education

A good portion of the K Beauty increase is directly due to my wife’s skin care bill.

I think you got traditional clothing picture wrong. Korean traditional clothing is Hanbok, not Kimono.

As a Korean follower of your channel, I recognized the pic of Japanese traditional clothing easily. I can see how many wrong information we consume everyday in the Internet. You must have just googled South Korea and picked one of the results. Lesson here: Better not insert pics or any kind of unnecessary elements if you don't know what you're doing.

Soft power is definitely an interesting area to look into with massive impact on the economy. Just a quick side note for future videos - might be worth looking up whether the stock images and bgm is actually related to the country you're speaking of. The girl holding the umbrella is not Korean culture, nor is the music. It can actually be really offensive to bunch Asian culture together and think it relates to one particular country.

Took long enough been into kpop and kdrama since 2003. If there had been the abundance of Korean stuff now back then I would have lost it, and all my money lol.

Surely it's not that hard to do a bit of an internet search before you make a short video, is it?

I think this is just the Korean version of what happened to Japan on the 80s and 90s. It won't be as bad for the economy when it slows down because of Koreans relative ease to changing things vs how Japanese do things. I hope they take the opportunity to diversify their industry more and bring new players to their economy that are not just Samsung kia and kakao.

There are a lot of trendy Korean snacks available to purchase, very different from 5 years ago.

For a Korean video you chose a Japanese girl in a Yukata. Korean lady's traditional dress is a Hangook

Probably shortlived tbh. Looking at the birth rates I really doubt they are going to have the excess capital needed to fuel cultural products like these within only a few decades.
