Thank you Margaret 💜 I lost five family members in a short amount of time, changing my life instantaneously. It’s one day at a time. My compass is always centered on my faith. 😊

Hello Madame...I've been studying French. Of course what your saying is important, yet I always notice the jazzy colors that you wear. You even make black look good. I would also mention loosing are pets feels the same almost as a person. Because those animals look at us with LOVE, no matter what we look like...lol

I am 62 now, but Helen Kubler Ross’s book, On Death & Dying , first got me through the loss of my young fiancé back in 1982. I have referred back too many times to count now. The last chapters, if you remember, do discuss the transition times and the belief in Hope. 💕

Hello Margaret, Bereavement also occurs when losing our beloved pets. All animals possess love, caring and devotion as well.

Thank you Margaret My Mam died 1 year ago and I just can’t get over her death. I feel life is pointless without her. She was the only person in the world I could be myself with I talk a lot and she just accepted it I am numb most days without her. I thought things should get better by now but I am starting to feel worse than ever. I will keep plodding on but my whole life has changed dramatically since she has gone. X

Thank you for this lovely video Margaret. I lost my beloved husband in 1986. He was only 40 and I was 32. I have carried that grief with me throughout the years in one term or another. I will soon be 70 and never remarried or had children and I think it'because I compared everyone I met to hm and they all fell short. Not many resources around back then but I did seek therapy and moved on the best I could. I am a very good Aunt to my niece and two nephews and cherish each day and the short time that we had together. Thank you for your willingness to discuss this painful topic. I will certainly check out this book. Blessings to all who are suffering a loss 🦢 .

want to add.. that to love ourselves unconditionally is crucial in a grief process..love heals our heart and to love ourselves unconditionally, no matter what can take away our pain we live with. We deserve it. Cause we are not only lovable when things are happy, we are lovable always as we are only human. Grief can be the path to a new life and a new insight about a particular situation. Its about open the hand that want to hold on so tightly and let it go...

I do understand the model from On Death and Dying. I saw my husband deal with the steps on his diagnosis of illness. I’ve tried to apply it in grief, and it has never helped me. I wish that it would make it easier.
