I loved Maya as a kid. Still do. That German shepherd transformation from her first appearance is still my favorite one; the transition from her baring teeth at Koenig and then cut to the dog making the same snarl. Perfect.

I use to draw her as a child. She was my favorite character. I even have a Chihuahua named Maya after her today. No joke.

She was one of the bright spots in an otherwise forgettable Season 2 - where Fred Freiberger like with Star Trek Season 3, had no idea what he was doing. Season 1 of Space: 1999 still my favorite show of 70s as a kid. UFO was great too.
