This happened to me two years ago , luckily I was able to snap out of it and started to research limerence ,it almost ruined me . Also I have been seeing a therapist to help me navigate out to the other side of this , it was almost like a spell . Yuck !

This was something I went through some years back. I was head over heels for an old ex friend some years back who never showed interest in me and a lot of times I would overlook signs that were obviously right in front of me that she wasn’t a good fit for me.

All this happened with my experience but limerance never happened to me before! IT WAS A CRAZY WILD RIDE!!! In hind sight only it was exciting! I was so worried about this person not liking me and would SHAKE like a chihuahua! 🤣

It is a feeling of false happiness almost like a distraction from reality that followed by a dark gloomy sensation, covered with shame and frustration. Very quick to start very difficult to get rid of, now learning about it make all sense. 🎉🎉🎉
