Just because you were told you were "saved", doesn't mean you were.
When you were filled with the Holy Spirit, that was when you were truly saved, 4 months later.

I got baptized in late July last year. It wasn't until late October that same year before I was bestowed with the Holy Spirit. And when it happened, I felt a firm grip around my mind. Not my head. My whole brain. It wasn't painful, though. And once the pressure subsided, it was like all my worries and anxieties were washed away. And I was given peace unlike anything I've ever known.
