I have rosacea,,so for couple months I started washing face only at night while showering and not in the mornings thinking it would calm flares. Not a good thing for meš¢rosacea got worse and I guess the dermodex started a war zone and tripled the trigger. I no they like more oil-sebum and multiply. So now back to washing morning and night. Using metrogel in the mornings and Ivermectin before bed. Its is helping alot plus taking spirolactone. :

She's just saying it's a choice, if you feel Washing with a face cleanser mornings irritates then don't.just rinse wash with water as she dose. The tretaton thing is that our skin absorbs everything while we sleep so there shouldn't be any on surface .I wear heavy cream, so I use a gentle milk cleanser to wipe around in morning before sunscreen

hi Dr. Dray, have you discussed sebum oxidation in any of your videos? If I have moisturiser (especially with occlusives) on and don't cleanse it off within half a day, I seem to get more acne, and I'm trying to figure out why this happens š¤ without a moisturiser, I could go more than half a day, but I'd still have to cleanse about twice a day on average

I use a heavy moisturizer at night, and feel like it needs to come off in the morning. Seems like it would block my morning skin care products. I just like a clean slate in the morning for my skin care products, especially sunscreen.
