I bought a system from RPS solar for my off grid water well, have had a great experience with them from ordering to now. Super friendly, super knowledgeable and always willing to help.

This is all well and good if you find a good solar installer who knows what they're doing. Unfortunately there are a lot of wannabees out there who claim they know their shit but really don't.

I'm happy to pay for expertise and labor, but within reason. I'm doing a DIY with some electrician help for sub $30k, including batteries. Cheapest installer near me was north of $70, without batteries.

There's not always a good option for installers. However if you do your research there are good options for suppliers that will help you design a system to meet your needs and will even update and pre program the equipment Personally I think if you're capable the diy route is acceptable, however if you're not it's in your best interest to do your homework and find a good reputable installer. I've followed your channel for years and if I lived in your part of the country and had the space and need for a bigger system you'd probably be my first call. Up here all we have is some multi state company that's primary focus is roofing.

So many nice flat fields...I live on a mountain, but have south and west face...but the rocks...I don't know what I'm gonna do. Roof is not an option.

Can you do a video why Grid Tied Net Metering makes zero sense from an engineering standpoint?

Wasn't no CCP spy balloon was a smart company attempting to recreate the radiant energy experiment but the damn tether broke, was getting to much current and burned out the cable

Have you even seen the number of solar installers that are out there. There are a lot of shoddy ones who charge a lot to install. While you might do a good job there are many who do not. Your frames are very high end and I have seen some shoddy wood ones made out of 2x4s installed. Good luck on that guy. Got robbed blind and he paid cash.

I am my installer. But my set-ups are cheap and easy. I never buy kits they cost too much

If it's a "ranting" that people learn something from, that's ok.

Normally you'd give reasons why you're better, unless you have none. These systems are some of the simplest projects one could build. Do get a proper engineer for your home nuclear plant.
