I met my best friend it 2010. "People have work to do together at times. " I found that a very interesting statement. I am still trying to reside in my soul. I suppose I have never met a soul mate, or I was still in my personality in this life.
I am a happy 70 year old grandmother blessed by living with my son and his family.

WOW incredible timing and affirming some of my own thoughts this morning regarding the general idea of "soul mates".
I don't believe that we're all wandering the world like Kane trying to find that one soulmate to be our partner throughout the escapades of these psychical bodies and the sadnesses and madnesses of our mind.
In a way all souls are our soul mates.
Can a person get out of their own way so their soul can even recognize another soul instead of fixating on the body and its energies or the mind and intellect?
Sure, but generally under unusual circumstances.
A soul can simply see and recognize the soul
in another but I think the only way we can truly see the soul is if we are coming from a place of love and open to giving receive love.
The soul is powered by love and knows and recognizes love when it sees it (unlike the body that only knows lust or the mind that only knows causation).
Sadly, more often than not the ego and/or body simply choose another ego and/or body to roll the dice with unbeknownst to either they will never be in a sustainably satisfying relationship until it's between their soul and the soul of another.
Lol, and if and when two souls meet and commit to being "mates" then this is simply the start because their bodies and minds are a package deal 😂 ⚖️🙏

The way he said ‘there might only be 500 of us anyway’ resonated. The idea of reincarnation sometimes insinuates that you die and go on to your next body without your past body continuing to exist. It might be more of a simultaneous activity
