I got the same thing when i bought a Quran and tried to read it. He definitely hit the nail on the head. The author goes way overboard to convince the reader it is from God.

Jesus says: I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me. My sheep follow me because they know my voice. (John 10 : 1-30 Paraphrased) When I read anything not directly from the Bible, it is obvious it is not from God because the voice is different. This would be clear to anyone who has read the Bible.

3. [And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks? 4. Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.

When did these limited beings who struggle with funding find out that the universe is expanding? 1929 by Edwin Hubble. Quran 51:47 - We built the universe with ˹great˺ might, and We are certainly expanding ˹it˺. These limited astrophysicists and with their limited technology are.still discovering planets let alone researching about 7 heavens the Quran mentions.

renowned astrophysicist !! You did not even respect him enough to mention his name...what his name so we can see if he is renowned as you claim or not, and another thing why don't you bring someone to show the other side opinion or you just want to impose your side of thing upon us ?!!!!

A Muslim cannot deny the prophethood of Jesus, as he is revered within Islam. The Quran dedicates an entire chapter to Mary, his mother, underscoring her esteemed status. Both her father and her uncle are also mentioned with great respect in the Quran. Notably, while no other female name from the Islamic era is mentioned in the Quran, Mary’s name is uniquely honored with an entire chapter bearing it.

That is exactly my reaction to the Koran. Some of it is quite impressive but most of it is like the Book of Mormon: someone trying to write like the Bible but without the talent, knowledge, or skill.

I think what the old guy is referring to is the seven heavens that the Quran and narrations refer to. In another verse it refers to the closest heaven being adorned with stars. Which might be refering to the observable universe...there are many narrations referring to "heavens"...so here is the problem, any no body, off the street give their two cents on islam, without slightest qualifications for the job...professor Roy Casagranda has a lot of lectures on the truth on Islam.

It is Allah Who has created seven heavens and of the earth the like thereof (i.e. seven). His Command descends between them (heavens and earth), that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah surrounds (comprehends) all things in (His) Knowledge.”

I’ll make it easy. The seven heavens in Islam are realms with which we believe are guarded by angels you can’t pass into the next without permission. And considering we believe the angels are apart of the unseen realm we can deduce the seven other heavens are apart of that unseen realm as well, we believe the known universe is apart of our 1st heaven/realm so anything after that we will experience at our time of death

Atheists think the same about the Bible. Except when you ask them what errors they can’t tell you exactly like asking them who the king of palestine is. Their “answer” always the same “you need to go”.

I think he meant seven heavens (definitely not spheres). Yes, the Qur'ān is vague at times, but it's incredibly detailed where it needs to be. So the science professor's criticism is that the Qur'ān tries too hard to be spiritual? Tell that to the millions who have memorised it verbatim and to those who spend the bulk of their time reading it. I wonder if there's one Christian who's memorised the Bible. 🤔 If I don't read the Qur'ān for more than a short period of time, my heart starts tugging me towards it. When I read it, I feel a deep serenity (and that's without concentrating on the meanings). If I concentrate on the meanings, I often can't read more than a handful of verses because they are too profound to digest. I feel sorry that the professor can't have the same experience. Perhaps he should try reading it with a heart that is sincerely receptive to the literal word of God
