I'm not much of a donut or a jelly person, I do love peaches and figs though, so this does look tasty and healthy.
However I am in recovery from Anorexia Nervosa, and this type of "replacement" is a huge thing for people with eating disorders.
So please, eat what you're craving, listen to your mind and body!
Let yourself eat! Eat intuitively so you can avoid over eating, sure, but over healthy-fying everything is just masqued orthorexia.
Do yourself a favor and avoid disordered eating, you deserve better!

Well, technically peaches can be "donuts" because flat peaches are actually known as donut peaches, this specific name is included even on wikipedia. I know what you mean, but I'm not sure if the original post was trying to say those "should" be regular donuts replacements or if they were just using the fruit's accurate name. Imo you shouldn't have done this video because again, these peaches are literally named like that, so the creator wouldn't be wrong to call them that in the first place. Also, they never said they should replace actual donuts, why can't it just be a healthier snack? Like I don't see any suggestion like that, but I don't know this creator, so idk.

As soon as I saw the caption, without even seeing Kristina’s video in the thumbnail, I immediately knew what this was 🤣🤣🤣
I’d love to see you do a reaction to one of her more recent videos — a fully raw vegan “burger” that involves making your own raw ketchup and other condiments, and a full 24-hour patty dehydration time. The “bun” is raw mushrooms. I can’t with her

Controversially, I'm a big fan of foods that semantically take the role of other foods. It makes both incorporating these foods, and constructing meals without the 'bad' foods a lot easier.
We can all sit on our high horse and yell "just eat a donut or pasta!" But that doesn't always fly. I cook for 3 adults with severe insulin resistance and one with celiac, in a cultural climate that eats 80% carbs. That's difficult.
Zoodles aren't pasta by any stretch of the imagination, but they dutifully carried the spicy vodka sauce I'd been craving until my brain figured out it's even better on straight up broccoli. Eggplant fries aren't potato fries, but they are a lovely fluffy stick to accompany my steak and mop up the sauce. And peach donuts aren't donuts, but they fill the donut-shaped hole were the colorful donuts of sunday brunch once sat.

I like to split sweets in half and save for later so I don’t have the mindset of “You have to eat all of this right now”. I get to eat the donut or whatever and later on if I’m still craving something sweet I can eat the rest. Satisfying my cravings but also being mindful with what I eat.
Also- Does anyone else prefer fruit more than cookies/donuts/ sweet stuff? I feel like fruit is more filling and satisfying (most of the time lol. I still love eating sweets every now and then).

that's a Saturn peach also called a donut peach. they are the best peaches in the world.. and the sweetest. it doesn't need extra sugar stuffed in it to make it taste like a donut... or to satisfy a sweet craving. if I want a doughnut it's because I want the fried doughy goodness covered in sugar glaze
