Look at how many households still say grace at the dinner table for every meal. Look how many employ the youth in the household to minister grace at the dinner table. Now look at how many families are gathering at the dinner table anymore. We are being divided in the household and that is weakening our ability to share our spirituality with the next.

This may be the case, but I certainly donât think that bringing back prescribed and hollow spiritual practices, which are often backed by dogmatic rules of a made-up religious practice that is completely arbitrary. Parents usually impose this kind of spiritual practice in a non-compromising manner, which can create a host of other problems that lead to a life of guilt or inadequacy, or both. We are living in a difficult time in which we have finally begun to leave behind the shackles of religion, the last thing we need to do is to reimpose these life-deflating rules on our young people!
