As someone who had gastric bypass, even plain oatmeal gives me "late dumping syndrome" so I'm pretty sure it gives you a big blood sugar spike unless you make sure to eat enough protein to help slow it down. I can't experiment though because it just makes me too sick. The very last time I tried, I put protein powder in it and I still got sick from it.
(It's one of the only foods that make me sick like that).

As someone who doesn’t actually get hunger or fullness queues, ozempic as a weight loss mechanism is a life saver. Intuitive eating or traditional eating doesn’t work for everyone. Especially for those with chronic conditions - and on treatments like steroids. Saying otherwise is just as harmful as those pushing extreme diets.

If oatmeal was ozempic I wouldn't be overweight, but I am. I eat it nearly every morning in my smoothie. 😂
