If oatmeal was ozempic I wouldn't be overweight, but I am. I eat it nearly every morning in my smoothie. 😂

When will everyone just stop being obsessed with food and just live their lives? When people?! Just live! Eat well, exercise, be happy, get sleep, drink water, laugh, treat yourself etc etc etc… oh my god just LIVE! So sick of all of this!

As someone who had gastric bypass, even plain oatmeal gives me "late dumping syndrome" so I'm pretty sure it gives you a big blood sugar spike unless you make sure to eat enough protein to help slow it down. I can't experiment though because it just makes me too sick. The very last time I tried, I put protein powder in it and I still got sick from it. (It's one of the only foods that make me sick like that).

I eat my oatmeal raw with some grape nuts, cranberries, all added to my no-bake cookie which I then crumble in plain greek yoghurt.

As someone who doesn’t actually get hunger or fullness queues, ozempic as a weight loss mechanism is a life saver. Intuitive eating or traditional eating doesn’t work for everyone. Especially for those with chronic conditions - and on treatments like steroids. Saying otherwise is just as harmful as those pushing extreme diets.

Its funny, even when taking ozempic they stress a high protein diet must be paired for "maximum results". So the meds do work, but they need to also be combined with a good, well rounded diet

That makes me even more skeptical of Ozempic. I have to wonder what it does to those of us with gastroparesis and stomachs that already don't empty the way they're supposed to .....

Oatmeal without protien equals high glucose spike.

I would just eat the oatmeal and then drink some lemon lime juice.
