I just use a peg board since most of my tools can get a little heavy. Old school, but it works.

There are SO MANY of the modular boards I just recommend printing the one that has the most attachments for YOUR stuff.

Seems like a good idea if you keep it small but if you do a large board on your wall putting the back pieces would be tedious especially if you have stuff already hanging on the board.
Old school peg boards are much better honestly.
