Reduce carbs, cut refined grain and sugar, Eat wholemeal pasta and rice. Ur Plates should be about 50% veggies, 20% carbs, 15% fat (healthy fat like avocado, salmon, olive oil...), 15% protein source. Drink Water, eat low fat yoghurt with wild fruit (homemade) and low fat milk. Protein powder to get enough protein and do cardio.

Caloric deficit can't be maintained without lowering your metabolism - not to mention it causes loose skin if you significantly overweight because your body is not going into autophagy to eat away those junk proteins, etc.. Also, you are working out and most people won't. The key is lowering insulin so your body can tap into fat stores and start using ketones for fuel by doing a water only fast. Then come out of the fast and repeat. Eventually, your body will get into ketosis after 16 hours or so of not eating and then eat good nutrient dense foods in an 8 hour window. This results in fat loss without loose skin for those who choose to not kill yourself in the gym. However, I do recommend resistance training and proper aerobic exercise as well. A lot to this and I have specialized in fat loss for over 3 decades.
