You can do VT for total world stock index, but if you want to control % US vs % non-US, then do VTI and VXUS. Expense ratio of the 2 average out to be a bit lower than VT as well.

I love VIG, it's a dividend appreciation fund meaning that only companies that constantly growth their dividends stay in this index. Great way to sort for high quality companies!

I bought like 12 Vanguard ETFs because I was trying to expand my my portfolio, VOG is like 12,000 ti 1300 total right now but the rest are under $50

I would say msci world as an International Etf that holds 1600 companies in developed countries

For the international portion of my portfolio, I've been buying only gold and silver, mostly gold, for over twenty years. Gold, in my opinion, is global, a reliable form of insurance in case our fiat currency or multiple currencies experience difficulties.
