we are a part of nature and everything we do - be it any kind of crazy technology - is also only an extension of nature. Our cities arenât more than anthills in the bigger picture. The thing is that nature is meant to be destructive. Billions of species have existed and stopped existing and itâs normal to have impact on the environment as a species. If we werenât so afraid of seeing ourselves as a part of nature it would be easier to preserve it but also easier to handle the change that we are causing ourselves.

First, through massive natural selection, since the growth cannot be sustained forever by the natural resources around, it will make the individuals compete for those limited supplies. Unfortunately, this is the reality and even with a lot of technological progress, the mentality is very hard to change among the population.
