In the Hopi tradition when the earth reaches the end of a cycle it splits into two streams, or two worlds. One is regressive & defined by the misuse of science & technology, while the other is progressive & defined by returning to the earth and the development of Spirituality.
This is parallel to the esoteric concept of the splitting of the earth into two different evolutionary streams. In Anthroposophy the devolutionary stream eventually leads to the 8th sphere, while the evolutionary stream leads to a higher expression of the earth called New Jupiter.
In the Theosophical tradition we would see this planetary splitting as the planet moving forward in its lifewave and as a natural process of the planets evolution through its unique planetary scheme.
In the New Age, this concept is also present. The lower earth is called the "3d earth" and the higher earth is called the "5d earth". These are simply different ways of expressing the same core esoteric concept. The continuity of this teaching throughout the eras is an example of Spiritual Science.

My last native medicine teacher talked about this two paths a lot, he passed in 2016 June. I walk the good road, trying to teach other about the two path. Hopis lived through the last 4 extinctions of the human form. They know and have vast oral and written on rocks history about the 4 extinctions of human form due to evil ways. The hopi live in poverty and stay out of the material world to save themselves from what they call the 5th extinction of the human world. Then the 6th world starts.

Why do I feel privileged having knowledge of such things? I desperately wish to share it with everyone, yet no one wishes to receive it. While I've found it lonely and isolating, having this "privilege" of attaining such knowledge, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world . Wishes for a happy, healthy and abundant new year, Gigi!
