This reminds me of a roguelite game called Wizard With a Gun, developed by Galvanic Games and published by Devolver Digital. I highly recommend it and would love to hear your thoughts on it!

I think it might be interesting to expand on that concept. What if it was a whole “gun“ that had a sort of firing assembly? You pull the trigger, and it releases the chambered die round to slide down the barrel, with pegs on the bullet dice and rifling grooves in the barrel to give it spin.

I got mine, was a little disappointed with the lock design, so i took my welding tool and an all metal bb gun i had that broke and put the dice chamber in it ina kind of janked way. Feels great to have a handle on flick it open
