My suggestions for dealing with anger:
1. Acknowledge your feelings (allow yourself to feel anger/rage as they are natural emotions, and release them whenever appropriate/safe to do so. For example: hitting a pillow, screaming into a pillow, or screaming out in nature, even the simplest thing like crying when you feel overwhelmed by it, and the more);
2. Self-Inquiry (ask yourself what is that emotion trying to communicate with you. What is it telling you? Perhaps it's a sign that a boundary of yours has been violated, or you feel disrespected, or an injustice has occurred and you're feeling 'Rightful Anger', and so on. As with any emotion, anger can be a messenger. What is its message to you?);
3. Physical Activity (any physical exercise that makes you move the body, shake those feelings, sweat, and burn some energy);
4. Breathwork (it could be helpful to release some stuck energy. After all, "emotion is energy in motion");
5. "Anger Rooms" (there's literally places out there where you can pay to smash things, and release pent-up anger & rage);
6. Using a baseball bat with a Bioenergetics foam cube - suggested by Jeff Brown (https://www.facebook.com/SOULSHAPING/videos/10158721744025982/);
7. Ice Cubs or Cold Water (I've seen people suggest using cold water to wash the face or even using ice cubs on the face, for about 2 mins);
8. Ice Baths (Wim Hof's method comes to mind, and you can even start with cold showers or at least finish your shower with cold water).
+ Of course there are so many more ways to deal with anger, to release it, and/or to use it constructively (I'm thinking Art, Creativity, and any other ways of Sublimination that you may find useful). Use your discernment, and find what works best for you.
