I will say that I developed neuropathy. My feet would burn at the end of the day. I felt like I was walking on marbles. I’d get shocks down to my toes like someone was popping me with electricity. I started going numb toe by toe and the. It spread to my hands. It was sad. I even told my hands how much I appreciated them and that I’d miss them.
I started using red light therapy on my feet. Not only did my feet recover, but my hands and arms did too. I couldn’t understand the hands, but then I read studies where they treated one area of the body and other areas got better. Or it could be a big coincidence. Either way I’m very grateful.

Red light is supposed to help restore damaged vision.
There was a study done a few years ago to see if it may help with macular degeneration, there were some positive results.
I thought I had read a more detailed study about red light therapy wavelengths vs different types of eye damage occurrences, but I’m not sure. I only see one small study now.
I don’t remember the mechanisms for eye damage and function, but there are particulars where receptors get blocked or damaged and somehow red light can stimulate cell growth and repair in the eye.
Supposedly. I’m not a scientist or a doctor.
the whole reason I dove into the subject was trying to understand eye damage from light or sun or something. It was in 2021 and I was satisfied with the answers I got so I left it
I have a slightly lazy and gradually degenerating left eye.
My dad also has cataracts somewhere around that time that came on suddenly.
Dad got glass lenses, that fixed that.
I just try to focus out of my left eye more. It’s a little better.
Red light therapy seemed a little weird or risky to try on my own. Otherwise, expensive and time consuming in a professional setting.
I am content with my mortality.
My right eye took on a little more sight advantage to compensate.

I was extremely surprised to see the effect the red-light mask for skincare had on some people. Seems like that, specifically, is really good for people who are hardcore about skincare. They all use SPF moisturizer cuz it massively reduces wrinkles from aging. The mask was game-changing in the post I saw, simply cuz it actually looked like she saw the sun sometimes.
So one very specific set of circumstances, but a specific use case that I can appreciate.

Bob & Brad, two physical therapists here on YouTube, recommend infrared , (i don't know if that's the same as "red light therapy" ), heating pads for stained muscles BECAUSE they penetrated deeper than regular ones. They have dealt with athletes many times in their careers. However, it's not some weird "miracle cure" for whatever.

If it doesn’t work, then why do they always use the red sun room to imprison Superman? Do your research people.
