All you need is a liquid cat treat such as Churru (if you're in the US, they're super expensive here in Sweden) or VitaKraft that I use here. I like it to be not too liquidy to make it easier to really get the pill into his mouth.
I use one of these tubes a day, half for his pill in the morning and half at night.
This method is so great because it is actually enjoyable (!) for the cat, which means life saving medication that doesn't harm your bond. So so important! Some days he gets it on the first go, other days he needs a whole tube of treat!
He gets Felimazole morning and night for hyperthyroidism, but this ofc works with any medication. I'm wearing gloves because this is a hormonal medication.

What a lovely magnificent catfriend! Thank you so much for sharing this very helpful advice! I'm going to subscribe and search through your videos to see if you've figured out a solution and given advice on trauma-free dental hygiene for him....I have NOT figured out a trauma-free method of cat tooth brushing and my two middle aged catbestfriends are starting to have very real dental problems...I'm disabled, living in extreme poverty, but I'm choosing to spend my rent money on professional cleanings for each of them...and just hoping we don't all become homeless together....I will NOT let them suffer! But I'm hoping I can learn of a method for keeping cat-beloveds teeth clean and healthy after their professional deep cleaning...without traumatizing them...thank you so much for this lovely video, I wish you and your beloved cat well!
