It’s because of competition for self worth being bigger, better, faster, smarter, and greater than one another. Competition to prove your worth to humanity. To prove your better at being good enough than everybody else because your more convenient and acceptable in every way for everyone for the sake of being more conducive to yours and everybody else’s reputation, image, ego, comfort and pride. Creating a society that is obsessive with convenience and reputation to the point that what ever stands between them and that, is to blame, and needs to change, to make them more acceptable. Making everybody overly critical of themselves and everybody else. While they try to impress themselves and everybody else, only to drown out their sorrows and grief in messed up ways as they give into escapism in the wake of traumatic forms of abuse.
