More people need to talk about this I've been saying it for years. People lose their wallets in their own lifetimes let alone passing it down in a deceased estate. Need the brokers do report to tax offices about holdings when it comes time to do deceased estate, need the mechanism to provide credentials to the executor. Need that process to be transparent so the one kid who knows where the password is cant just secretly take all the crypto. That's not even considering the price volatility during the execution of the will, how does the executor decide when to sell. Sure gamble on it but it's a speculative instrument, blurry line to call it investment
