America still has a lonnnng way to fall when compared to the housing situation in most developing countries and China. We're now entering a world of old money dictating every decision for new money.
The biggest difference being old money stability is shaky in the U.S. vs. other parts of the world. With collapsing society and the medical/nursing home system, old money never has the opportunity to come to fruition. Economic sinks like that will ensure real poverty. It's already happening in Canada and California.

In NYC it's 10x Real Incomes for a home. In China it's 30x. My whole neighborhood is turning Chinese because they view an $800000 home as easy mode, and the home actually exists.
