This clip is cut from a longer video, and therefore lacks context. What most people are forgetting is that the actual point of the evap system doesn’t matter, it’s what happens when you fill your tank too full that matters: an irritating repair bill.

What do you mean? The cap should be enough to stop any fumes getting out. Plus i always fill up to full. Less trips to the petrol station the better.

Bro its a sealed system unless your fuel cap seal is broken or you have a fault somewhere. This is the reason we have the EVAP system
