Do try to beat the market. Do you try to time the market. Youâre not there to watch a company grow slowly over years.
Youâre there to find a price inefficiency just like in any market.
For example, if you sell weed, can you try to find really good weed at a really low price and then you try to sell it at the fair market price thatâs the same thing you should do with Stocks.
(Doing nothing/time in the market) 10% return over a year is fine if youâre only trying to make a little bit of money like Grant here.

Ryan there are shortcuts in life for a select few who inherit millions from grandpa or have a trust fund. Youâre right from an overall perspective for the rest of us though.

Big fan of Ryan, but he should not be giving any form of equity investing advice. Stick to what you know and donât branch off for views. I understand you have a fantastic network, but donât jump on the finance influencer bandwagon. You are a real estate guy not a finance guy

I'll tell you something that took me years to learn and you can read famous stockbroker Andrew Lanyis book "Confessions of a Stockbroker" if you don't believe me. Don't waste any time analyzing the stock market. Unless you're like Jim Simons and have an analyst team that works 24/7/365 tweaking AI algorithms to find market trends you're not going to find one. Use the stock market for what it is. Let the nerds do the work and just put your money in growth index funds. It is really that simple.
