Organic bananas are important if you care about beautiful blue butterflies. 🦋 They’re fragile and being wiped out. Also organic bananas taste amazing and are only ten cents more per pound.

I don't know much about pesticides and herbicides, but wouldn't it go into the groundwater and absorb into the fruits and vegetables?

What about absorbed systemically and bypassing rhe skin?

I never understood the concept of washing the agrochemicals off of the surface of fruits and vegetables because when the crops are sprayed, the spray also hits the soil and the rain takes it deeper into the soil and it gets sucked up into the roots with the water. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ll say it again, the combination of how smart she is and her hotness is crazy….she’s a goddess

My family owned a non organic strawberry farm and we never sprayed our strawberries directly. Just because something is not organic does not mean the fruit is getting sprayed. Also, organic fruit and vegetables can be sprayed with harmful chemicals.

The testing methods of organic produce are a joke. When you buy organic foods, you are buying a product and an assurance at the same time. There isn't anyone out there testing every single strawberry. These organic farms are a lot of the time right next to a non organic one. There is run off and carry over of chemicals. You can not guarantee that a product is truly organic other than the placebo effect of seeing the word on the label. The government is the entity regulating organic farming. The same government that supports GMOs. Thing really hard about whether you should trust them either way. Organic is a scheme and they're lying to you.

Why is it legal? That's why I put my strawberry in berries into a bath off filter water three times for more than 30 minutes total

No indication that pesticides used in organic farming are safer than conventional. GMO crops are safer from this perspective because they require less pesticide full stop!

So RHONDA, what about the fact that not organic food is grown in soil that is much less nutritional dense and is saturated with round up. This is not true with organic food and so the soil presides more nutrients that go into what you’re eating. am I wrong or there’s more nuance or what? .
